An interview with our Bisley auto locksmith
Living around two miles from Bisley, Carlo Castagliuolo answers one or two questions on the general work completed in the area.
Q: What types of jobs do you get called out to in Bisley?
A: Even though Bisley is a small area I find the morning and evening rush hours can be quite heavy with traffic, Bisley has several schools in and around the area and is a popular link to the M3 motorway.
Often during the morning rush I attended more jobs where customers have locked there keys inside their car…. living locally I can usually attend these jobs quite quickly preventing any unwanted delays.
Q: How do you save money and time over obtaining a new key from a main dealer?
A: Good question, when a new car key is required it starts off as a blank which needs cutting to a specific key code and diagnostically programming to the car regardless if the key is non remote, a remote key or a keyless proximity key.
Unfortunately, the majority of main dealers do not have the facilities to complete all stages in house and will most likely have to order a blank key cut specifically to code from a third party, once they have the key they then require the vehicle to perform the key programming process which can incur additional recovery costs to the customer in the event that all keys are lost.
We keep a good range of blank keys and remotes in stock and have the ability to cut and program the key using our key cutting machines and the very latest key programming software. This is all done at the vehicles location saving the customer valuable time and money.
Q: What was the last job you completed in Bisley?
A: Earlier this week I attended a job on the forecourt of the ESSO petrol station on Bagshot Road, the customer had unfortunately locked his only key inside his Vauxhall Vivaro van whilst filling up with fuel. He used the van for work so he was desperate to get back on the road. I was able to gain access to the van within five minutes of arriving, I also supplied the customer with a spare key whilst I was there as he really didn’t want to be in this position again.
